This Privacy Policy describes how InvoiceKit ("we", "us", or "our") handles your information when you use our iOS application InvoiceKit (the "App"). We take privacy seriously and have designed InvoiceKit from the ground up to require no personal data from you.
1. Information We Collect
We do not collect any personal information.
InvoiceKit is a fully offline application. All invoice data you create — including client names, addresses, email addresses, line items, and financial amounts — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to us or any third party.
2. Data Storage
- All data is stored locally on your iPhone using Apple's on-device storage.
- Your data is automatically included in your iPhone's local and iCloud Backup (if you have iCloud Backup enabled in iOS Settings). This backup is managed entirely by Apple and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
- We have no access to your iCloud backups or any data on your device.
3. Permissions We Request
InvoiceKit may request the following iOS permissions:
- Notifications — Used to send you local reminders when an invoice is approaching or past its due date. These notifications are generated entirely on your device. No notification data is sent to our servers.
You can revoke any permission at any time in the iOS Settings app under InvoiceKit.
4. In-App Purchases
InvoiceKit offers optional paid subscriptions ("InvoiceKit Pro") processed through Apple's App Store using StoreKit. All payment processing is handled by Apple. We do not receive, store, or process your payment card information. Your purchase history is managed by Apple and is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy at apple.com/legal/privacy.
5. Analytics & Tracking
We do not use any analytics SDKs, crash reporting services, or advertising networks. We do not track your activity within the App. We do not use cookies or similar tracking technologies.
6. Children's Privacy
InvoiceKit is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are under 13, please do not use the App.
7. Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate with any third-party SDKs, analytics platforms, advertising networks, or social media platforms. The only third-party service implicated in the App's use is Apple's App Store and StoreKit for subscription management.
8. Data Deletion
Because all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete all App data at any time by:
- Deleting individual invoices within the App.
- Uninstalling InvoiceKit from your device (this permanently removes all stored data).
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
